Beijing Half Marathon draws over 20,000 runners

2018 Beijing International Running Festival-Beijing Half Marathon concluded on April 15, drawing over 20,000 entrants from 32 countries and regions.
Li Chunhui won the men's race in 1:06:02, edging out Zhao Baidong by 53 seconds and Bi Fengyang finished the third with a time of 1:10:51.
While in women’s race, Ma Yugui took the first place in 1:14:56, with Gong Lihua trailing 16 seconds behind to get the silver and Jin Mingming pocketed the bronze with a time of 1:16:44.
The 2018 event is jointly sponsored by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports and Chinese Athletic Association and organized by Beijing Sports Competitions Administration Center.
Beijing International Running Festival, dubbed as “Beijing Run” has a history of 62 years and has been upgraded as a half marathon since 2016. It was awarded as “2017 Gold Race of Chinese Athletic Association” last year.
